Hello To Everyone- Im a Newbie
Just a note to say hi to everyone in Missouri. I am in Rolla Missouri. I am 34, married and I have a 11 year old son. I am hoping to have surgery soon, but like many others, Im doing the waiting game since I have Medicare. I cant tell you all how comforting it is finding this website (and board) with so many nice people! (but I bet ya'll knew that!) Anyway- Hi to everyone!
Hi- That really cool! Small world huh? My son goes to the Centre frequently to swim. I was reading your profile. BCBS Alliance is what I just left through my hubbys job- as you know they have that exclusion. Now I have Medicare and I am really hoping that I will be able to obtain my surgery in the near future!! Anyway, its nice to say hi to someone in my turf! Keep in touch!!! Robin

Welcome to the wonderful Missouri Board. You will love it here so I hope you hang out with us. It is so supportive and encouraging, and some of the most special people you'll ever find are on this Board. I feel so lucky to be part of it and to call many of them my friends.
I have a 10 year old son and a 7 year old son, and am married too. Congratulations on your decision to have the surgery. It has most definitely made me a better mom. One of the many turning points when I decided to have the surgery is when I didn't want to go to a school function for his friends to see how big I was. I was humiliated and didn't want my kids to be ashamed of me. I now have as much energy as they do! The waiting game will be worth it - I promise!
