Sedalia Seminar!!

OK I just got home from my four gastric bypass seminar. Iam begining to feel like I could write a book about it myself, so I should be all ready to go .. Everything has been turned in and now Iam waiting my surgery date and appt. with Dr. Hornbostel. I was very glad to get to see Colette and Jan along with her sister there.. I got a big hug from them both to by the way. The hospital there is going to soon be ceritified for excellence and I hope it comes quickly. BUT, good things come to those who wait. Craig

Welcome back to the board Craig. I've missed you posting lately. I'm glad the seminar went well. It is always nice to meet people from the board. I hope the rest of your journet to surgery goes smoothly. Wayne

You will have your surgery before long and you will know so much it will be easier on you as you will already know how to handle a lot of problems you may encounter. I know it is hard to wait but the time will pass quickly and soon you will be a skinny minny little guy.

Craig, Glad to see you back on the board. It was really nice meeting you and Jan and her sister last nite. It wont be long now till you hear something. They had their certification on March 26th. I know how Medicaire surveys go. Deal with them all the time. Anyway, welcome back to the board. Colette

Hi all It was so good to see Colette and Craig last night at the Sedalia seminar. I was dissapointed that we didnt get to talk more. Would have liked to had a cup of coffee with you all or something. Anyway my sister,and I were really really impressed with Dr. Hornbostel. And we both filled out our paper work and faxed it to him already. Talk to you all later. Jan

Hello- Did I understand your post correctly that Sedalia DOES have the COE certification? Also, on the excess 20 %-Also, I am curious- how does the clinic there in Sedalia handle it? Up front or bill? Thanks- Robin

they dont have their COE YET!!! they had their final walk thur inspection this past monday and are hoping they will have the final aproval with in a month or two. I dont know about the 20percent excess I was going to ask him that last night at the seminar but forgot about it. Jan

Craig, WELCOME BACK!! Yipee! When I saw your name again I was so happy. Welcome home! Whatever happened before, just know you are among friends here on this Board. Congratulations on your seminar! Woo Hoo!! I am very familiar with the COE procedure so if they are that far along with having their inspection, they are extremely close. So....Craig, Jan and the other patient pre-op patients - without any bumps in the road for their certification - there's a light at the end of the tunnel that is just for you!! I can hardly wait until the day that Craig, Jan and others post their dates. We'll all be doing the happy dance for you at our computers (scarry visual, huh??!!)
