Good morning Melissa, read your joke on here this morning and died laughing. how true how true. Hey we all fall off the wagon once in a while at least it doesnt hurt us too bad when we are pre-ops like us but when we do have the surgery Im sure we wont be doing it again. I have got to come to a meeting in Springfield just to meet you , you are a hoot.
Today----cleaning closets putting the winter clothes up or rather to the back of the closet , Going to Sedalia tomorrow to their info meeting to meet doctor Hornbostel ..hopefully they are getting certified before springfield so that is where i will have to have surgery. . Sister is going with me for info too. Since Sedalia is quite a ways and we neither can see to well to drive after dark we are going to stay overnight and then come back home Thursday morning.
Going to work in my yard some today too as usual. Flowers are coming up and growing like crazy, tulips are in full bloom, iris some of them are starting to get buds on them already. well im off to do something even if it is wrong. Jan

Glad you like the joke. I am hoping not too many guys get offended by it. lol But it was too cute to pass up. I hope you have a good day and a safe trip tommorow up to Sedalia. I would love to meet you at one of the meeting that I go to in Springfield. I got to meet Wayne, Cathy, & Anita last month. I had so much fun!!! We were leaveing the meeting room and my DH went to the restroom. I told him I would wait for him. So Wayne, Cathy, Anita & I was talking as they were waiting for the elevator. Well it came before DH got out and I told them to go ahead I would wait for him. Well all the way down to the bottom floor you would hear them and myself yelling back and forth Bye. Well...hubby came out of the bathroom and he asked me. "Was you yelling"?? lol I told him they started it. It was so funny. I have been to several meeting before in KC and they were never as much fun and supportive as this one was that I went to. I would love to see you there this month. I believe they are having it on Monday the 10 of April. From 5:30pm to 7:pm. If you need any information on it ask Cathy or Wayne. I am sure they could give you more.
Love Ya

Hiddie Ho neighbor lady. I hope it diden't hurt when you fell off that wagon You are right, today is a new day and you will climb back on and do great. When you are done at your father-in-laws you can come clean my house. I am going up to my old job to see about getting off of disability and getting back to a job (I cant wait to get out of this house). Oh well, enjoy your work day.

I know what you mean. I am so looking foward to going back to school after I have my surgery. I dont want to be on disability for the rest of my life. Always worried about how I am going to pay the bills ect. Hubby is using his time to go get his GED and then go back to school himself. Since he lost 60% use of his leg like he did. He needs to go learn another trade that will put his at a desk job so he isnt on his feet all day long. Me I would love to go into computer of sort like web page design just until I lose weight then go back for Resp Therapy. But I understand what your talking about for sure. And to answer your question. No, it didnt hurt when I fell off the wagon. I have too much junk in my trunk for it too hurt to much. Just my pride got brusied!!

Hi Melissa,
19 more days!!!
Thanks for the kind comments about our support group. I just love our meetings and our group. I've shared before here that it feels like a group of friends that get together once and month and catch up and share together. I just love it! I look forward to seeing all of our friends each meeting. Jan.....I agree with Melissa so you're part of us too so please come. We do have a great time and have lots of fun together.
You didn't fall off the wagon! We don't have to be perfect. Life happens and sometimes we have better days than others. The key is not to become guilt-ridden and beat yourself up. I love your attitude that today is a new day and you're moving forward. That is what sets you up for success for the long-term. If you are rigid and too restricting, eventually it will catch up with you. Think of holding your breath...hold it...hold it and then eventually it blows out with great force. That is what being too rigid with yourself is like - a diet!! Follow your healthy lifestyle and allow yourself some brief intervals of "life happens".
My friend, you're doing great! You're going do to even "GREATER" in 19 days!!
