Anyone else newly post-op (I am 6 weeks out) have REALLY dry skin? I have a bumpy irritation on my forearms. I am trying topical remedies but was wondering if anyone else had this issue? I know I am getting less FAT so my skin is suffering....thoughts anyone?

I know exactly what your talking about. I go through a bottle of moisterizing lotion every couple of weeks. It seems like as we shrink we need more water to keep our skin hydrated. Find a good moisterizer and good luck. Wayne

Thanks Buddy. I keep hoping for the all-expense paid weekend at the spa but it hasn't happened yet (DARN those sweepstakes). Anyway, I keep using the lotion and steaming up the bathroom. I added cortisone for the rash.....we'll see. They said if you get enough water and use enough lotion, you can minimize the sagging skin too. Time will tell.

hi Magee, I had to switch my skin care program to Clinique and that helps a lot with the facial dryness. I still have to do it dilligently. One missed day and I'm flaking like a December snow. Try anything with Shae Butter for the rest of the body. Hope you're doing well in your weight loss. Tracey Bateman
