HELLO CATHY
Hi Cathy sorry i havent said hi before now we have all had this cold and I still feel so drained. Ok i would like info on protein bars. Do you take them instead of your protien drink? Are they just better for a snack filler. Do you like any better than the others. Well i have lost 67 pound in 4 months. I know that is great but is that on track with what most people lose? Ok back to work thanks Cathy and everyone here on the Missouri board.

Hi Steph,
It is great to hear from you. I'm so sorry that you've been sick. I hope you're feeling better.
I'll put on my support group leader hat now.....are you taking your vitamins regularly, drinking your water and getting in sufficient protein? Make sure you are so your immune system is running strong.
67 pounds in four months - Awesome!! Way to go! Congratulations!
I'd like you to not get on the protein bars just yet. I eat Power Crunch protein bars and they are the best I've ever eaten. They are almost TOO good! They have a great nutritional breakdown as so many of them have too many carbs, sugar and sugar alcohol. We had a protein bar taste testing at The Next Level Support Group meeting and I dumped!!
At your stage right now, I'd like you to stick with protein drinks. It is basically a trial/error with the protein drinks. You should be getting most of your protein from dense, lean protein sources such as chicken with a protein drink as a snack and/or a meal replacement. You can only absorb 24-28 grams of protein per hour so adjust your protein drink for this to obtain the maximum protein absorption.
You are doing great!! I am so happy and proud of your success. Thanks for your special post to me. Will I recognize you at our next support group meeting???
