Where is everyone

I guess everyone but me has a different life on week ends. lol. I spent today planting 6 new rose bushes. Im really really tired. They had to be put in the ground today since I put them in root stimulator yesterday, and my husband was down in his back so that left only me to get them in the ground. I worked for about 4 hours digging and mixing compost in with dirt and putting in fertilizer etc etc. All I need to do now is put bark around them so the grass will stay away. So where is everyone? and what have you all been doing? Jan

Hi Jan, Today is my birthday so I celebrated by taking my family for a long weekend away. We just got back and had such a wonderful time together. We did things that I would have never been able to enjoy much less physically do 4-1/2 years ago. It is days like today that make me so deeply grateful that I had this surgery. It was a gift of memories and wonderful experiences that I will enjoy for a long time. We went out of town from Friday morning late to just now so it was a fun-filled birthday weekend. We hiked one day, swam, and went bike riding, watched movies, and just had some fun family time. Among the best gifts of all are not things (although, don't get me wrong, I like things!!) but they are truly family and friends, and special times. wow no wonder you werent here. Sounds like you had a wonderful wonderful time. I envy you. I hope that when I finally have my surgery that I can do some of those things again. Jan

Hi Jan, Well it is 910 and I am just checking in. Glad to see you here. I always have full weekends. Did some cleaning yesterday, had family for supper, and today we went to church and after lunch I did some dreaded chores. Cleaned my bottom kitchen cupboards. Dont get time through the week as I am working full time at the present. I need to get out to the flower beds and clean and rake. That will be for a day after work. Looking forward to see you at the seminar next week. Tomorrow is an important day at Dr. Hornbostels office. Colette

Hello Jan, I been busy this weekend trying to get my house together because my in-laws will be here next Saturday and this is my last week of maternity leave. I go back to work on April 3rd....My son had a birthday party to attend yesterday for my pastor's son and then today we went to church and went to Wally world for a few things we needed for the week to include formula for my little girl...
