Good Morning Missouri...
I had the pleasure of meeting Wayne last weekend and we had an opportunity to sit down and talk for awhile. He's having tremendous success so far and if I were a betting man, I'd put my money on him being at his goal. Regardless, he seems so focused and motivated, he's a man who is gonna reach his goal no matter what it takes.
Wayne, good luck to you next week at your appointment! And best of luck in joining the workforce once again...they'll be lucky to have you!
Best wishes - we should get together again sooner rather than later. Maybe we could meet up for a coffee (decaf/sf vanilla/non-fat latte) with David from Branson...oh yeah, I almost forgot tea for you, not coffee.

Great job. I hope you hit the 100 pound mark.I bet you do. Remember with disabilty you have a trial period of like 6 months before you have to requality for your diablility. I don't know if it is something you would be interested in but Vocational Rehabilatation is sending me back to school to retrain on a job that I can do. I am a Lpn and they know I can not work the floor anymore because of all the weight I have lugged around on these old knees and back for so long(You know I could not even pick up 216 pounds now much less carry it around day in and day out.). My plan is to get my BSN with voc rehab's help then go on for my masters and get my Nurse Practitionors certification. I will have to get loans to get the last part . There are alot of different options to chose from. I had to go through a lot of testing. I was really kind of fun. They wanted to see if I had the ability to reach this goal.Just thought it might be something some one else might be interested in. Jean E
hi wayne,
Wow, can you believe its already been three months???
It's unreal to me that I'm over 7 weeks out. I've lost 32 lbs since surgery. 45 since ten days prior. I'm starting to see results and it's exciting to HAVE to buy smaller jeans etc. I've not worn this size in 5 years.
BUT this post is about you not me. You're awesome and you're right this IS a miracle. And so are you.
Praying you area able to get your job back soon!

Hi Wayne,
I can hardly wait to hear what your official number is. Although my friend, your success with the numbers on that scale will come. Your true success is in who you are and in the person that is emerging. You are such a positive inspiration and that will be even more so through the coming months - you mark my words as that's a guarantee!! I'm 4-1/2 years out and you have inspired me in so many ways.
Three months??? I remember checking the Boards every hour the day of your surgery and until the post came through that you got home. Thanks for sharing your exciting and inspiring ride with us.
