Almost here

Well tomorrow is the big day. I'll be leaving early for the hospital. I have an appt with my psych at 8:00 so he can give me some breathing calming exercises. He is really great. Then surgery is supposed to be at 11:30. KC has decided that we should have one more shot at winter on the first day of spring so we're supposed to have sleet and then lots of snow tomorrow. I don't know if that will hinder surgery or not. We'll just see. My bag is packed and I guess I'm ready to go. I don't know if I should have done this or not or if any of you did this but I wrote letters to all my friends and family just in case. I didn't want to leave anything left unsaid. Although I know I'm gonna be fine. I've got lots of prayers going up for me. Thanks for all of yours. Jen

We will be praying for you. I think it is a good idea to write the letters. I did. If for no other reason than it gets it off your mind so you can relax a little more. I told the surgeon and nurses. If they felt a little tingle it was just everyone praying for me when I went to surgery. I know he heard those prayers. I know he can answer the prayers that have gone up for you. look where you are. This is no accident. I don't know about you but just getting this far was an answer to pray for me. My sister wrote a song that we sing alot. The chorus goes...... "Look at all the battles you've already won" Remember where you started and see how far you've come. when it all seems hopeless- and you just can't go on. Look at all the battles you've already won" I hope this helps some with the nerves. Jean E

Jen Oh sweeite, I am so glad to know your day is here. I will call and talk to hubby in the morning before you go into surgery. You are in everyones thoughts and prayers for a uneventful surgery and a speedy recovery. Everything will work out and you dont have to worry your in Gods hands. And there in no better place to be!!!
