Just thought I would share a wow moment. A friend gave me a bunch of nice clothes last night. I really love getting new clothes new or used is ok with me. The problem is they were size 18-20. I have never worn an 18-20 or atleast since I can remember. So when my husband brought them in, I thought I want to try on a couple just to see how far I have to go before they fit. Then I could make the decision whether to keep them in the house or in the garage in a bin.WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!I could wear 90% of the clothes. I can't wear the pants cause I am still kinda hippy and have the old saddle bags. But you know I am kind of proud of those saddle bags. Everything I have gone through to get them!!hahaha. All the work trying to find some one to do the surgery.I know you all know what I am talking about. Most of you have been through something simular. The hurry up and wait. Then finally the RNY bypass. Then the hernia repair and panniculectomy with 3 months of homebound nurse care to heal. If it sounds like I am complaining.WRONG !I now have a life and feel like I have a chance to live long enough to be part of my childrens adult lives(grandkids someday) I know I have been given a second chance and I am going to take it. I just wanted to share the wow moment. I know some of you may have started where I am now 241 pounds I am by no means a little woman.I started at 456. I am not done losing yet. The best is yet to come. Thanks for listening. Jean E

You go girl! Good for you. I get those same thoughts when people give me clothes....and then it's always a nice surprise to find that they actually fit. Little 'wow' moments are really big in our life now. God Bless you in continued success. Minnie in Lebanon MO.

Guys, I was 378 and will understand the urge to scream from the mountaintops when I get around 241 - I can barely remember being at that weight (sophomore year of college!). I am 5 1/2 weeks out from surgery and down about 30 pounds.....I am going to need someone to take all these 5x clothes away! Keep it going, girls. Lots of room on the loser side.....

I started out at 391 and am now about at the same point as you. I find I can wear several 16W sizes from Wal-mart. That is so cool! Especially when I started out in a 5x and beyond a 26-28. Now, I'm losing VERY SLOWLY. How about you? Is your weight loss still continuing? Teresa
