Good Morning Everyone Well it is 8:am and looks like it is going to be a beauty of a day. So does anyone have any plans for the day? I am planning on cleaning my house. I called my doctor yesterday and the only thing missing in my chart is a stress test. I gave them one but since it is now over a year old. I have to have a new one. I just called my PCP to have him order one. I will be so glad when I get thro all this red tape. I hope everyone has a great day!! God Bless Melissa

Good morning Melissa, No real big plans today for me and the baby...Just the usual daily chores and we may venture out for a ride...Just got my son on the school bus and hubby is at work....May take a nap when my daughter takes one this morning...Trying to stay close to the phone for when my sister calls to give me an update on her baby...They are saying that the baby may be in ICU for up to two weeks...So please everyone once again, I am asking that you keep my little niece in your prayers.... Hope everyone has a wonderfully blessed day.... Melissa, Getting that stress test is just one step closer to the loser's bench and we are all waiting for you....I will gladly slide over on the bench..... God bless Rachael Medinger

Hi Melissa, My sons are on Spring Break this week.....if I had a stress test, I'd flunk! I'm actually joking as I'm enjoying my time with them. I love spending time with them and I have fun with them. I took them to see Shaggy Dog this afternoon which was cute. I'd rather see a Chick Flick but for a kids movie it was good. I think the last grown-up movie I saw was City Slickers! One of the things I like about Tim Allen is how far he has come. Many years ago he was in prison yet came out and had a successful t.v. show and movie career too. I love those types of people when their lives take a turn and they get down and turn things around and rise to the top of their potential, and not stay beaten down. It gives me motivation and inspiration. Tonight I have some of my boys' friends for a sleep over. Wayne, remember the other night when you didn't sleep well.....that'll probably be me tomorrow! Oh well, that's what being a kid is all about is having friends sleep over, staying up late and talking/laughing after the lights go out. I did it as a kid so it's my turn to pass it on to my kids. Melissa, I remember going through all my red tape pre-op testing and I thought it would never end. I remember looking at my list of tests I had to complete and feeling it was like climbing Mt. Everest. You're almost at the top though! We're cheering you on all the way!!! You are so close now. If you see a post from me at 3:00 a.m., you'll know the sleepover is still going strong........................... Cathy ObesityHelp Support Group Specialist

Cathy Oh what fun man I miss when my nephew was little. He would have sleep overs with several of his friends and we would have a blast. I would take them to the city park after it was dark and play hide n seek. I remember when he grad from 8th grade. He had 6 of his friends over so I made an entire day of fun. We went to the park and cooked out. The week before there was some construction going on in front of the movie theater. And I borrowed 2 of their orange cones. (Yes, I did return them) I divided the boys into 2 teams. And they would race to the end where there was a baseball bat. They had to put their heads on the end of the bat and the other end on the ground. And they had to turn around the bat 5 times. Then they would pick up the cones and while looking thro the small hole. They had to find their way back to the starting line. I laughed so hard I fell off the top of the picnic table. Then it started to rain of course we played in the rain. Well at the park they have this 2 story house in the middle. I believe it is used as a information center. It has a wrapped around porch on it and has a handicap ramp on the side that has a rubber mat all the way down it. The boys would run across the side of the porch and hit that rubber mat part and slide down the whole ramp. So I jumped in the van and went to the $$ store for dish soap. I squirted the whole bottle over the rubber mat on the ramp. Talk about slick they would fly down that ramp. Aaawwww memories makes me miss when he was younger. I think I had just as much fun as they did. ha ha ha Melissa
