Beyond tired....

I just got home from the gym.... totally whupped right now ... 3 miles powerwalking w/o slowing down or stopping.. followed by full heavy weight regime (everything) and then finished up with another 2 miles powerwalking w/o stopping.... WHEW. Home now and getting ready to grill my meat and fix a salad... then I do believe I will hit the sofa and put my legs up. I'm pretty tickled though... yesterday I only did 4 1/2 miles and tonight I was able to do 5 miles... that is something given the sad state of my left knee... endurance/stamina wise I could of kept going... the pain in my left knee wouldn't let me... so it is a calculated thing this working out... I have to do enough to strengthen the knee but not totally peeve it off... Hope everyone had a great day! I know Ms. Betty is busting it on the bike tonight.... she is doing an awesome job! Way to go girlie...I am so proud of you and your achievements....Keep up the wonderful work...Had to babysit the nephew today so was unable to get out and do some walking....You are such an inspiration to me.... Thanks God bless Rachael....... I am getting my weight lifting in with holding and carrying Jaiden....hehe

Go girl. You sure are ambitious. I am happy if I can do two miles on the treadmill and do my workout. Not that I am working I cant do as much. Nine hours racking my poor little brain takes its toll. Would ever have though you could ever be able to do that much exercise as a pre op? I was doing going to walk around the house and into the yard.

thanks Rachael and David.... ...I'm up this morning and no worse for the wear pain wise... I'm slowly but surely getting into the groove again with the workouts.... Down another lb. which is totally fantabulous!... I will take it!... yippity yah.... really been hitting my protein along with doing two protein drinks a day...sometimes three due to my workouts.... I will leave work this afternoon and hit the chiro's ( I go every other week) and then it is the gym for me again... lots of powerwalking tonight and very very light weights (mostly toning) with the exception of my ab crunches... I don't slack on those at all.... I can tell the difference too... under that loose skin I am getting rock hard and tight... by the time I am able to have a tummy tuck I will surely have the 6 pack going... ..now just to be able to SEE IT!... Wow, reading your post made me T I R E D!! LOL I mean 5 miles of power walking is nothing to sneeze at. I go for walks but, not nearly that far.... I envy you for being so enthused about life and well about everything! Kelli

Cannot wait to join you...as my body shrinks I hope to be able to do more but I am still carrying so much extra weight. I am at one mile every day walking....I cannot wait until I can have a salad. I cannot wait until I can actually move easier...... YOU ARE AN INSPIRATION!
