Hello all, it has been a while since I have posted. I wanted to share my good news with my WLS family. As of this morning I have lost 81 pounds. I am 207, only 7 more pounds until I reach my first personal goal. I haven't been this small since 1990. I feel great and people are so proud of me. I was at wal-mart last night and I saw a friend of mine and she stopped and said that she didn't recognize me. I felt good. I crossed my legs in church on Sunday and I am buckling my seatbelt now. Its amazing. Well, have a great day and God bless, Penni

Congratulations on your WOW moment...Isn't great to be able to cross you legs now...I will never forget the first time I got to cross mine, I just kept telling my hubby, "Look I can cross my legs..." It is the little wow moments that make if even more emjoyable of having the WLS....Keep up the great work....You are doing wonderful.....I am slowly working on getting my weight loss started on the downhill slide again...I gained 28 pounds with my pregnancy and I have already lost 16 of those pounds....I am thinking about getting the stroller rolling today because it is suppose to be 78 degrees today..... Penni, keep on keeping on.... God is good.... God bless you Rachael

Penni, Crossing your legs and buckling your seatbelt are huge WOWs! Congratulations. I'm 4-1/2 years post-op and everytime I cross my legs I still get that happy feeling of being able to do it. For most non-WLS people, crossing their legs is a given and something they take for granted by not thinking about it. For me, it is a WOW moment that I live and relive lots of times. Thanks for sharing your success and WOWs. They're great treasures! Cathy ObesityHelp Support Group Leader
