Good Morning to all, Just need a little bit of encouragement this morning. I have been in a steady holding pattern for 3 weeks. Have lost 1 pound and just seems like no mater what it wont budge. The exercise is going good, and my DH says you are losing inches. Guess it is time to measure again. I am eating good food, eliminating mostly all sugar, eating fruit and veg and protein in amounts I can have. I have lost 56 pounds and now in a hold. I have to get my drivers license today so maybe the picture on it will make me feel better. Thanks for listening. Colette

Colette, It will start dropping off again. I am now losing about 4 - 5 pounds per month. That is much less than it was in the beginning, but it's okay with me. I have been negligent about exercising and have resolved for the millionth time to get on that. Your husband is probably right. You are losing inches as a result of the exercise. You also are probably losing fat and gaining muscle. I have seen a number of people post about that happening to them. It means the scale doesn't always move, but you can buy smaller clothes!! Yeah!! Keep up the great work. I'm guessing you have a birthday coming up if you are renewing your driver's license. I hope you love your new picture. I had to do that in January, and mine stinks. I am thinner, but the picture looks like I was ready to kill someone. Linda

Good to see you this morning Colette. I would definatly say measure yourself. If your exercising and eating properly and getting all your fluids then you are doing everything you should be doing. If you are losing inches then the weight will start falling again. I am praying for you to break this stall quickly. Just keep doing the things you are and the results will follow. Wayne

Collette... Holding patterns suck don't they?? I guess we can look at them in a different light though.... ...it makes us appreciate those lbs. lost when the scale finally DOES move... I know I'm slightly warped but I have the tendancy to flip things around and look at them in a different light... I'm definitely the glass is half full type of girl!.... Continue working on the things that you KNOW you need to focus on... and continue to make those good food choices that you are already doing! (which btw is AWESOME!) and the scale will relinquish some of those lbs. for you! Elizabeth~
