It's official....

I'm now a Missourian!! We have moved to Ozark Mo and are both adjusting well to our jobs and feel great. I can't wait to get to a support group meeting in the Springfield Mo area and meet you all!! Well I just wanted to say hello and can't wait to chat with you. Have a great day! Take care, Anita

Hey were you at last months meeting?? I was. I'm really bad at remembering people, names, etc. I'm not a snob, just got too much other crap on my mind. I can never keep track of all the people I meet! I have a friend, on the other hand, who can juggle two jobs and 4 boyfriends, and still keep track of who's who on the giant California message board, when their surgery was, when their plastic surgery is, why they went out of town last week, who they're married too, their kids birthdays....etc.....That's a special gift that I do not have!! Anyway, I plan on going to the Monday night meeting, unless I FORGET for some reason!! I DO have a note right above my computer to remind me.... Hopefully I'll get to meet you there. ~~Kristen

Well, turns out I wasn't there anyway! I was so tired yesterday. I actually got ready to go and decided at the last minute to stay home. I was too out of it to haul ass all the way to Springfield, walk in late, and then sit there thinking about driving BACK to Marshfield! (I was reaaally tired). Maybe I'll see you next month. If you are over 1 year out as a post op there is a meeting for us on Monday at 5 30pm at St Johns. It is a smaller group dealing with more advanced post op issues. It is a smaller group and we try to help each other. Welcome to Missouri. I live in Branson but come to Springfiled all the time. I am supposed to start work next week at the Bank One Chase Bank facility. There are a lot of nice people around here I am sure you will like it.

Welcome! I'm a new Missourian too! I live in Marshfield, which is about a half hour from Springfield. I'll be at tomorrow nights meeting as far as I know. (I really need a reminder though, sometimes that stuff slips my mind) Hope you love living here as much as I have! Take care, Kristen
