Have you ever had one of those days when you want to say something but you have no idea what. Well I'm having one of those days today so forgive me ahead of time if this makes no sense because I have no idea what I'm going to say Well I woke up late but still got the kids to school on time and was able to make breakfast for my wife before she left for work so I guess I was not really late I just got to sleep in a little bit. I finally ate dinner last night and had no neausea, I had beef stirfry with red and green peppers and some gravy. It was awesome I want everyone to know how much I appreciate everyone on this site. You have ALL made a big impact on my life with your kind words and advice. My WLS journey has been made easier because of the people on here I have bonded with and can call friends. I know this post has been all over the place but it is over so I now return you to your regularly scheduled program. Wayne

Wayne, I don't see anything wrong with your post. Everybody on this board considers you a friend. Your journey is going to be such an inspiration to so many. Actually, it already is, but a year from now; it's really going to be something. I'm glad you were able to enjoy your dinner. It's amazing how good food tastes again, isn't it? When I eat something that I haven't had in a long time, it's like the first time I ever tasted it. I was telling some friends yesterday that I hadn't had a headache since before my surgery. That's almost 8 months now. They were astounded. I had to admit that no caffeine, no refined sugar and very few carbs has made a world of difference. I never believed that could be true before surgery. Besides that, no more blood pressure medicine and no more CPAP. I sure was paying a high price for "enjoying" all that time with my alledged friend "food." I hope you and everyone on the board has a fabulous weekend. I can drive again, and I am back to work on Monday. In a few weeks, I will be starting radiation therapy, but I feel so blessed that the treatment is available, and I have insurance. How lucky is that? Gee, I think I may have just done a commercial too See ya on the boards, Linda

I am so looking forward to meeting all of you on the 13th. I am really getting excited about maybe this is finally going to happen. I had an email today for a lady that had the surgery and she is older than I am . Made me feel like I wasnt being selfish after all . Jan

mmmm beef stirfry. You're such a great guy, Wayne. Getting the kids off to school....fixing your wife breakfast! Oh wait you sound like my husband. LoL You're probably the only two left in the world! You are such an inspiration to me and I know so many others. Thanks for sharing even though you weren't sure if it was "off the wall" or not. And I can assure you it certainly wasn't! God Bless! Hello to all, You are all an inspiration to others. Actually, I am starting to get hungry at times. Not sure if that is good or bad. And I do try and eat 3 times a day with snacks. Anyway, I feel great. Thanks for posting. Colette
