Insurance Approval

Okay as you can all see I am E*X*T*R*E*M*E*L*Y* H*A*P*P*Y* I called my insurance company today. To find out if they had received my papers from my Doctor for sugery approval. Yes, they had and they APPROVED my surgery on the 21st of Feb. They told me that they will be sending out my approval letter to my Doctor this week. My sweet lady that handles the insurance is out this week. So I figured I would give them a call on Wed March 1st. To hopefully give the paperworlk time to get to the Doctors office. The last time I saw my Doctor on the 18th of Jan when he stated that he was going to go for insurance approval. My DH (god bless his heart) asked him. When he got the paperwork back in hand how long before I would have surgery and he told us 2 week. So GOD willing I could possibility be looking at FINALLY having my surgery around the 3rd week of March!! I was to scared to post this for fear of something happening and going wrong. It has been a LLLLLLLLLLLLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNNNNGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG hard struggle but I guess anything worth having always is. It is just to hard to imagine that I actually maybe coming to the light at the end of my tunnel. HALLELUJAH I will post when I know more. Melissa, I am soooooooooooooooooo happy for you, I know it has been a long time coming but you know you can not rush what God wants to do in our lives....I will keep this all in prayer for you and hopefully you will get your date real soon.....I guess we all better start moving over on the loser's bench to make room for the new "loser".......Way to go lady....... Yay!!!! I am so happy for you Melissa!! What I did, when I called and they told me I was approved I asked them to fax me a copy of my approval letter then once I got it I faxed it to the doctor's office and was scheduled for my class the following week. See if they can do that and that way you do not have to wait for the long mail process. The nurse told me it some times takes a long time for them to get their mail by the time is bounced around the hospital mail room etc. Congrats and I look forward to seeing you on the losing side!
