Hi all, Tonight I'm officially drain free. PTL I almost passed out when the doc removed it this morning. Literally. It wasn't terribly bad, just odd. But the tube hit a big time nerve and my blood pressure dropped. He said it happens somtimes. (DON"t BE SCARED THOS OF YOU WHO HAVEN'T HAD IT DONE, YET. It's just a necessary evil and this evening I am SOOOO much freer, emotionally better to be rid of it, physically in a lot less pain and just feeling perkier. I asked if I can have Egg Drop soup and my doc said, oh yeah. Even the eggs in it are ok because they're so thin. I feel like a new woman with a couple of ounces of that stuff in me. Wayne, Thanks so much for that in-hospital phone call last week. That meant the world to me and I can't thank you enough. Melissa, Your notes have been precious to me as well. I'm praying for you as you trudge on toward your own amazing new beginning. I'm going home tomorrow. Have spent the last few days at Mom's and she's been helping me while my darling husband took care of our kids at home. Have a wonderful weekend everyone! Tracey

Getting that drain and staples/stitches out will be the best Valentine's Day you have ever had. Believe me, it is something to look forward to. It all gets easier after that. Linda
