Wanted to pop in now that I'm not doped up, scared, or worrying about oozing McNuggets, and thank everyone for the prayers, notes, well-wishes and messages of hope. You are all the BEST. I've had a few rough days, but definitely doable. I feel better at the moment because I was actually able to get some nutrition in me. The drain still hurts. I should get it out on Friday. We had gorgeous snow today and I sat in front of the window thanking God for newness. Freshness. I feel like I'm beginning my life all over again. God bless you all! Tracey Bateman

Glad you are doing well. The first month is the roughest then it just gets easier and easier. You will be surprized how fast the weight falls off of you. You will soon be a big loser and that is a good thing

Welcome home Tracey. It was nice to get to talk to you in the hospital. Sorry your still having to deal with the drain pain. Rest up and welcome to the losers side. Wayne

Good morning Tracey, Glad that you are feeling better. I don't know what it is like to have a drain because I never had one. Wonder why some have them and some don't. Anyway it will be great to get rid of those things. I pray that your recovery is quick so you can start your new life. God bless and have a great day. Penni
