Woo-Hoooo!!!!

Okay, for anyone who has followed my plight to obtain surgery. I am going to Mexico (had to change the date from Mar. 20 to April 3 to accomodate a friend who's going with me)...but I was *****ing about the wait seeming like FOREVER!!! But, it's officially moving along quickly now! I paid my deposit for the surgery on Saturday and today, when I opened my email, I had info about my airline tickets, a 20 page health history and assessment form to complete and email back, a very detailed bypass handbook and emails from the surgical coordinator!! Now, I'm getting a little nervous....no turning back now!!!! Mexico.....here I come!!! Alright, I'm going to bed, I have to work tonight.....but if I didn't tell someone, I was surely going to die in my sleep! Victoria Kelsay

Victoria, Congratulations!! I know that feeling of you're going to bust if you don't tell someone. Thanks for sharing your awesome news with us. I used to live in San Diego so I'm familiar with many of the wls surgical practices there. Depending on the practice you are having your surgery with, many of them have message boards for patients so you might check them out (if you haven't already) for any patient input and comments.
