Folks who are post-op, I am having a little bloody coming from my behind when I let the gas go. Can someone please tell me I;'m not the only one? Two friends have had the surgery and they didn't experience any bloody stools. but the doctor seemed to think it perfectly normal. I guess I just need to know someone else has experienced it and is ok. Still TONS of drain pain. Otherwise, no pain and the drain only hurts when I move. When I'm still it's fine. no pain at all Thanks so much fo rall the prayers and support Tracey Bateman

I had a little bloody stool. The Doc said it is normal after having your intestines worked on. It was good talking to you in the hospital. I hope your pain gets better quick. Wayne

Not at all unusual, this should subside as you heal over the next week or so. If it continues after the first 10 days or so, contact your surgeon. Best wishes as you recuperate. You should start feeling better each day! Get that protein - it does wonders for the healing process. And - don't forget those vitamins!
