Someone on the main board posted somethng about this with link to congressional reps to email them. I dont know if it is true or not but I email our senators and told them to get medicare to pay for wls for those over 65 and to maked all insurance companies cover wls. You might want to email or call medicare to see what they say.

that was me that posted that after getting the info from someone in Ark. that they were medicare was talking about not paying for it. they do right now. but if they dont pay for it for anyone over 65 well that is sort of stupid since you dont start drawing it until you are 65 unless you are disabled. weird .

I called my docs office and they know nothing about it. Sure glad I had mine done in Nov. as I am 68. Guess they might think old people dont need it. LOL I dont feel old, only know that I am blessed and had the surgeryand feel fantastic. Colette
