Lately I have had a couple of problems I had questions about. I have had a muscle time pulling around my c-section scar. Like when I do something that requires me to use my belly muscles to help me sit up or roll over or even sneeze. I called the office yesterday and they said it could be an adhesion. She told me to use heat and tylanol. Also, my skin has been unusually dry to the point where I have to use moisturizer on my face (which the place it is dry) 6 or more times a day. I was just wondering if any of you had these problems. Thank, Penni

You need to make sure that you are NOT dehydrated and getting in enough fluids. Not only will it affect your skin etc. but it also affects the hydration level of your internal organs. It is easier to get the "kinky" bowel problems, blockages etc. also when you are dehydrated as the tissues are "drier" inside. Also make sure that you are getting in your essential oils. Most folks (unless they eat alot of seafood) do NOT get in enough. I do not take Omega 3's via capsule or gelcap as the quality of the oil has degraded significantly. I use freshly ground flaxseed daily. I eat it over my yogurt. It is chock full of good stuff! Not just for WLS patients. Google flaxseed.... it should help. E~

I would just repeat what Elizabeth said about dehydration. Make sure you are getting your liquid. Make sure your Dr. knows if your scar problem doesn't get any better. Good luck Penni I will be praying for you. Wayne
