Greetings- I am in the processing of trying to get approved for my surgery. I hate dealing with insurance companies, etc. Just need prayers for a quick approval and a new life. I am a nurse and it is increasingly difficult to carry all this weight around- I had bilateral total knee replacements last year and face more ortho surgery if I don't get the weight off. I hope to hear something by Tuesday. Would appreciate your prayers and encouragement.

Phyllis, Welcome aboard! We will all be sending positive thoughts and prayers for your quick approval. This surgery is such a lifesaver that it's hard to believe insurance companies hesitate to approve it. I know it is expensive, but it is going to save a lot in the long run. Best wishes and keep on posting. Linda

Hey Jan- I guess everyone having this surgery goes through this part. I took a while to decide to do it and I guess now I want to do it before I have second thoughts. This really is life and death for me. I have 6 grandkids that I want to see grow up and I need to work 10 more years. If I don't get insurance approval then I am looking at taking out a personal loan- I hate to do that since I have paid for insurance all my life. I will sure keep you in my prayers. I hope to hear something this tuesday. Do you have any ideas of when you will hear? Where will your surgery be done? Phyllis
