Well it finally happened. I found something that made me dump, drum roll please, TUNA. I had a little for lunch and was sick as a dog ALL day long. The bad part was as much as I wanted to I coulden't. I think if I could have I would have felt better sooner. I was shaky and feverish and nausious and had a rapid pulse. SO guess who aint eatin tuna again (tuna is the ). Other than that I have lost a couple more pounds and hopefully My stall has been busted. I hope everyone has a wonderful Friday and an even better weekend. Wayne

Hey Wayne...sorry about your dumping episode!! I never had any problems with tuna...just wondering...what did you mix into your tuna? Regular mayo...light stuff? Could make a difference... When I was early post-op and even now I could do better with crackers than bread. Geez, bet you won't be eating TUNA for a long, long time will you? -Kelli

I used lite Miricle Whip which I have had in chicken salad with no problem. As of now I am still on soft food for 2 weeks so still no bread yet. Tuna has been added to the evil food list lol. Wayne

Sorry about the tuna. I have never dumped but I have gotten sick with some foods. This wls is strange. What 1 person can eat or do another one can't. I like salmon some times I eat it and it stays down other times I upchuck. I always cook it the same way. Shrimp is the same way. Christmas I baked ham. I was able to eat it. I ate a little bit everyday and stopped losing weight. I thought it was the sodium in it so stopped eating it. One day last week I decided to eat some deli ham with cream cheese. I found I couldn't eat the deli ham go figure. Connie

Tuna is the only thing that has made me sick. Granted I have not tried a variety of things yet but tuna is definatly on the do not eat list for me. Wayne

So sorry about the tuna. Are you sure that was good? I mean had you just made it, it could have been bad. I am lucky or blessed because I haven't been sick at all. I pray it stays that way. Congrats about your continues weight loss hopefully you will start loosing again. I have stalled for 3 days but I know I will get off this plateou sooner or later. Well, gotta have lunch. Later and God bless, Penni

I had made it 2 days before but it had been refrigerated so I'm pretty sure it was good. Plus the sick feeling came on almost right away. I hope you break your plateau soon. Enjoy your lunch. Wayne

wayne, I got ahold of weight management and they said i would have to be on a supervised diet for 3 months to be considered a canadate...did you do this and what program did you use...i am thinking of just getting one from my doc and getting weighed at the hospital weekly (you can never get weighed at the docs office at 500 lbs) What do you think? also how succsessful was you at losing the weight before the surgery...if i could lose a hundred pounds i would not need this surgery...do they say nope didnt lose enough try agan? or is it for insurence purpose and to evaluate your commitment? Also were you able to get the tests out of the way while you were dieting? that would make it faster! well thanks for any reply...sorry to hear about the tuna! Eddie

I used Weigh****chers for my supervised diet and lost about 20 pounds. I diden't have to lose ANY weight but most insurance companies want you to show that you tried. Call the center back and ask if you can schedual your tests while you are doing the diet. Let me know if you have ANY more questions. Wayne
