Century Club and Onderland all in one doctor's visit
Dear MO Peeps,
I just had to share. I had my 6th mo follow-up yesterday, and I am down 102 lbs and weigh under 200 lbs for the first time in decades. The best news is my labs were great, and I am doing great!! Now, if I can just get myself committed to regular exercise I should be even better.
I hope everyone gets good news today and that we all have a FABULOUS Friday.
Linda
Congrats Linda,
I am so proud of you six months and 100+ pounds. I bet you feel like a million bucks. What have you noticed as far as doing things? Last night I my hubby and I took our kids to the park and I was running everywhere, sliding down slides and playing around the whole park. This is one of the reasons I wanted the surgery, to be able to play with my kids and seeing how happy they are to have their mother do things with them. You have a great day and do something great for yourself today you should be rewarded. God bless, Penni
Penni,
Isn't it wonderful? I have an 11 month old granddaughter, and I am planning on lots of playing with her. As it is, she's a lot to keep up with. The weight loss certainly makes that easier. One of the most fun things I can do is cross my legs. I do it constantly. I am becoming obssessive about it. Oh well.
Linda
Marla,
Marla you are doing very well yourself. I have to agree with you about our surgeons. A year ago, I wasn't even considering this surgery. Having Dr. Scott and Dr. De La Torre move to Columbia was a big part of what made it possible for me to even think about the surgery. It's still hard for me to believe that I actually did it.
