4 More Days !!

I finished all my preop appointments last week and everything is a go. Monday is the day and I am sooo ready. I've lost 15 pounds this last month getting ready for surgery. Thanks for all the posts and support from everyone, I can't wait to get back and be on the loosing side. I hope the weather holds, I have to travel 2 hours for my surgery Monday morning...I'm scheduled at 7:30am which means I have to leave home around 3:30am...and its going to be worth it.

Brenda, I want to wish you the best. You will be in my prayers. May God hold you in his arms and protect you and guide the surgeons hands. Will be waiting to hear that you are on the losing side. Colette

Brenda, I graduated from Chillicothe, not to far from Trenton. You will be in my prayers, I will pray for your safe trip there. Is someone taking you? You will be in my thoughts as well as for the surgeon. Let us know when you get home! Your journey begins (acually they begun when you decided to have the surgery. Be calm this weekend and take some time to refect on everything that has happened in the last weeks ask God to relieve your stress and thoughts. I know before my surgery I was nervous and scared all I could do was think about how bad I wanted the surgery and asked God to be with me and hold my hand. I got such a calm about it. Hey we have the same surgeon! Tell me what all the pre-op testing is like. And tell me what Hoehn is like. I've only seen him at the seminar and I liked him then. I hope my first impression of him was a correct one. I cancelled on one surgeon already last year because I just had no confidence in her. She kept saying, "well knock on wood everything will be ok..." and so on. I thought no one is going to be knocking on wood with my body! But I like Hoehn so far.
