St. John's Hospital Support Groups in Springfield, Missouri
St. John's Hospital in Springfield, Missouri, is proud to announce the addition of their new support group, The Next Level. The Next Level Support Group will meet on the fourth Monday of every month, beginning on Monday, January 23, 2006, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The meetings will be at St. John's Surgery Center, Classroom 4B, 1229 E. Seminole, Springfield, Missouri.
The Next Level is for weight loss surgery post-operative patients that have passed their one year surgery anniversary or longer. You don't have to be a patient of St. John's Hospital Weight Loss Surgery Program to attend this meeting. If you are one year post-operative or longer, you may attend this group, however, this group is exclusively for patients only.
In our The Next Level meetings, we share experiences, successes, challenges, issues and concerns post-ops encounter past their first year and beyond.
Our New Beginnings Support Group continues to be on the second Monday of every month from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., and remains unchanged.
With the addition of The Next Level to our existing and ongoing New Beginnings Support Group, we now have a support group to fit the various stages of the weight loss surgery process and one for YOU! We hope you will join us at either (or both!) support group meetings. More exciting new developments and additions to our comprehensive program are ahead!
I hope to see everyone at the meetings! Cathy
Hi Kelli,
I hope you'll be at the first meeting on Monday the 23rd. I know it will be such a great group, especially with excellent post-ops such as you to share your experiences and insights. I am very excited about The Next Level and New Beginnings too.
I look forward to seeing you and other members at the meetings.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts on the new group. Cathy
Connie,
Only five months - that'll be here before you know it. I'll be anxious for you to join us. Let me know the month before your one year so I can be prepared with a big congratulations on your re-birthday (surgery anniversary).
The first year after surgery is so exciting and fun with all the changes that occur. While each year thereafter is exciting and fun, it becomes (at least for me) more fulfilling to live at a deeper level than before.
Looking forward to seeing you at New Beginnings and The Next Level in just a few months! Cathy
