Gloomy Day in St. Louis

O.k. Everyone ..it has been overcast..raining and pretty yucky here in St. Louis all day....it is enough to make me want my blankie..... So I am on my evening campaign to see if we can at least in words ...bring some sunshine to our lives.. QUESTIONS: 1. What are your favorite things? 2. If money was no option where in the world would you visit....be specific and descriptive...rembember we are trying to cheer one another up. 3. Since your surgery what is your favorite thing to dream about? 4. What is your favorite movie that makes you laugh so hard your sides hurt? o.k. here are my answers.... 1. My favorite things....clouds on a real sunshine day...the ones that make you want to float away on or to try to make images as you stare at them. 2. If money were no option, I would want to travel to Sciliy and see if I could locate some of my grandfathers relatives....he was adopted when he came to the US as a child. 3. Since my surgery, I dream about be healthy, able to do things I have never done before and to have so much energy....that I am totally amazed. 4. My favorite movie that makes me laugh so hard my sides hurt is.......My Big Fat Greek Wedding....it just makes me laugh so hard...I can hardly stand it... OK EVERYONE LETS SEE WHAT YOU HAVE GOT... 1. What are your favorite things? Sunshine playing through glass prisms, throwing miniature rainbows everywhere. The smell of fresh cut grass mingled with laundry hanging out to dry in the sunshine. 2. If money was no option where in the world would you visit....be specific and descriptive...rembember we are trying to cheer one another up. I would travel to Germany to look up my relatives. My father was the first generation born in the United States. My heritage is over 3/4 German. 3. Since your surgery what is your favorite thing to dream about? Being more active and with my upcoming knee replacement (this summer) finally being able to ride a bike!! 4. What is your favorite movie that makes you laugh so hard your sides hurt? Hmmmm My Big Fat Greek Wedding IS a good one. Also Robin Hood the movie, and any of the Monty Python movies. Elizabeth~

Hi Betty, I kept waiting for the snow to fall but nothing happened here except cold,drizzly rain. My answers to your questions 1. What are your favorite things? I have to agree with Elizabeth I love the smell of laundry hanging out on the clothesline. I also love the smell of puppies when you get down to play with them in the grass. (I guess you would think that answer a little strange. It is a scent I remember from childhood.) A few of my other favorite things are rainbows, sunsets, walks along the beach with my DH and talking on the phone with my dear Aunt Donna. (She is my most supportive fan and always has been-- she claims I am her favorite niece) 2. If money was no option where in the world would you visit....be specific and descriptive...rembember we are trying to cheer one another up. If money was no object where would I visit. I don't have one specifice location I would like to visit. At this point I just want to visit all my aging relatives one more time. We have had so many deaths in the family that I want to visit my remaining Aunts and Uncles before they pass away too. I would have to travel to Michigan, Tennessee, Texas, Indiana, and Washington State. I would love to attend the family reunion next summer in Washington State. 3. Since your surgery what is your favorite thing to dream about? Blushing Having sex with my DH. He is in Iraq and we haven't had sex in two years. I have been dreaming about a get-away week when he comes back. I dream about rediscovering each other as if it were our honeymoon all over again. I hope this doesn't embarass anyone except me. 4. What is your favorite movie that makes you laugh so hard your sides hurt? This is a tough one. I am really bad at movie titles. I did laugh at the Big Fat Greek Wedding. I would have to say a good Abbott and Costello movie makes me laugh also. Good questions. Kathy from MO

My favorite things are my family, friends and the new Bachaler (he is so cute). I would go to Italy and visit all the places that Jesus lived. Where he was born, died and rose again. I would also go to the vatican. To be able to see all of those places that Jesus did would be amazing! I want to go bungee jumping, run atleast a mile, hike up a mountain anything strenuous. Some of my favorite movies are Breakfast Club (I love to see people interact in a group where there are so many personalities). I like pretty woman, Dirty Dancing, Save the Last Dance, to name a few. OK here goes. 1. What are your favorite things? My favorite things are anything to do with the production side of music (mixers, recorders, microphones, etc...). I love taking music and putting it together and having it come out perfect. 2. 1. What are your favorite things? I'm always the problem child - I kinda like gloomy days. I like to think about a good book, a fireplace and my kids entertaining themselves for an hour or two. I like watching bad weather from inside..... 2. If money was no option where in the world would you visit....be specific and descriptive...rembember we are trying to cheer one another up. New Zealand - visit those beautiful vistas, see the clear beaches and ride horseback across vast open fields.... 3. Since your surgery what is your favorite thing to dream about? I haven't had mine yet so I guess I'm dreaming about getting it over with and seeing those numbers go down on that scale 4. What is your favorite movie that makes you laugh so hard your sides hurt? I can't say it's my favorite because it makes me cringe...Bad Santa with BillyBob Thorton grossed me out but I could'nt tear my eyes away... Like I said, I am always the problem child
