new items listed at clothing exchange

Kathy... I wish I would of thought to see if you wanted to go to the SG last night at Springfield. DH and I went... they are going to be starting up some new groups as well... You know we ought to start our OWN clothing exchange from folks in this area... I have never had any luck using the exchange on the OH site. I would email folks and NEVER even get a response from them... bummer indeed! Elizabeth~

Elizabeth, Thank you for thinking of me but I would not have been able to attend last night. I had lab work done yesterday and I was pretty wiped out from giving 10 tubs of blood. I know that doesn't seem like much blood but it sure left my feeling drained. I think a clothing exchange is a good idea. I have heard of SG having a clothing exchange at their meeting every six months and donating the left over clothes to the women's shelter. I have also heard of SG having yard sales during yard sale season. I am sorry you never had any luck with the OH clothing exchange. I have been overwhelmed with e-mails and have spent the past two hours replying to e-mails. Kathy
