Good Morning Missouri...
Happy Monday morning to all. I have just finished drinking my protien Latte and answering emails and posts and thought "HEY, I could post myself" so here I am, TADA!! I was finally able to go to church yesterday (first time since surgery) and it felt good to be back. This board is getting so much more active, it is good to read all the new posts and responses. I hope it continues this way and does not die down. Not much on the agenda for today, a little housework, a little exercise and a little computer time. I hope everyone has a great Monday and for those in the Springfield area DO NOT FORGET THE SUPPORT MEETING TONIGHT AT THE ST JOHNS SURGERY CENTER ON E SEMINOLE CLASSROOM 4B, see ya tonight.
Wayne
Hi Wayne. My son is sick so I am home. I just weighed and I think I'm down 8 pounds - I've got to get my bmi below 60 to have the surgery laproscopically. With that loss, my bmi is 59.7....My surgery is Feb 8th. I worry about being home instead of in my normal work routine - I have a tendency to snack and be off my eating routine.....I am so glad to see you are doing well and was not happy to read your profile about your surgery at Barnes. I'll be at the North Campus and hope to have a better experience....
Glad to see you are doing so well. I still have not mastered those shakes!
I have not been on for a while, had a wonderful Christmas Holiday with our children from 5 different states. Unfortunately, they brought to our house the "crud or crupe" which involves a bad cold and severe cough. I have had mine 11 days and still coughed last nite. My hubby has had it longer and actually took him to the doctors last thurs. and he got put on antibiotics. He has been so weak and has fallen a few times. So I just have been busy. Glad to see you are going to a support meeting tonight. They help. I went last Wed. nite and got to see Penni and Stacey and Patty etc. Wow!!! They look good. Well have a great day. I am doing some housework and laundry. Colette
GOod to hear you're doing so well.
So you're not quite a month out, just how much getting around can you do now? How much housework can you do?
(You probably cleaned better than I did before surgery though anyway! hahahahaha) Me hiding from dust bunnies!
Thanks for posting this morning. (11:00 is morning for me! hahahahahaha)
Afternoon to Wayne and all,
Your recovery is so inspiring. Congrats to you on being able to make it to church, I'm sure you were missed by all. Sounds like you are doing great, to be up and able to clean and all! Watching everybody's progress really give's me hope and calms some of my fears for when it is my turn.
Have a fantastic day!
Cassandra
Good Morning Everyone
Well what a change a day makes. Yesterday was really nice out and I woke up this morning and Bbbbrrrrrrrrr it is chilly outside. Took my meds, did my devotions, excercised for 30 minutes, went to Dr. Appt & ran some errands. Now I am back home ready to eat lunch. Then run a couple more errands. I go for my CT-scan tommorow at 6:30am. My body will go into schock for being up that early. lol But all is well and sound. I hope you all have a great day. Wayne it is nice seeing you getting back into the board. We sure have missed seeing you on here. Please tell April I said hello for me. I hope you all have a wonderful day. And stay WARM!!!!
