Ok what's up????

At the risk of being a wee bit of a stinker I forge on... This board used to rock and roll... long time ago. There were/are a bunch of us older postops that used to post but now have just gone in lurk mode (trust me I KNOW your there and reading this).... Then a bunch of newbies... who post amongst themselves and sometimes will post to other posts. This is a community and with that said ...it takes EVERYONE to keep this board running. Break out of your molds and reach out to other folks even if it almost kills ya! Jeeeez louise... I know for a fact that I have put posts up in here that NEVER even get one response and I know I'm not the only one that does that. grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr Ok. I'm down off my soapbox.... WILL SOMEONE RESPOND AND KEEP THIS BALL ROLLING???? Elizabeth~

Hello Elizabeth, great post. I totally agree that we need to make this board MORE benificial for EVERYONE. We need to remember that people post here looking for help and rely on us to try our best to help them. Keep up the good work and keep your soapbox handy lol. Wayne

Hi Elizabeth, Very nicely said! I haven't had WLS yet but would love to chat more with people locally. Since there is very little going on, on the Mo. board I have been hanging around the Main Message Board (rarely post over there, usually just read others posts). I hope the Mo board picks up also. " Honey please don't take offense at what I said as it seems that you might have. If you read my post well it didn't say that. Of course you know these people a bit better since you are all in the same proverbial boat. Just don't exclude (whether by accident or otherwise) the rest of the bunch. When people build walls (unintentional or not) it inhibits growth and change. Change is WHAT WE ALL WANT or we wouldn't be having or have had this surgery. Hey Elizabeth!!!! Well, I try and post some...but, sometimes I go a couple days without logging on....it is frustrating that not many post from when we had our WLS's. I will make an effort to repond more often.... I think I need to offer more support...sometimes I do and sometimes I just read and move on...my bad!

I try to post when I have something to say to help someone. I am over 2 years post op and doing pretty good. I do remember the first six months and pre op how hard it was to get approved. Hope everyone is ok

Finally some action on this board. I agree I belong to other boards and we have a blast there. We do 5 question for the day, thought of the day. Jokes, abc games, ect. I am willing to do whatever I can to help add some spice and excitement to this board. Melissa
