Who is going to January meeting and seminar in Springfield???

OK, I have learned of a support group meeting: New Beginnings Support Group held on January 9th at 6pm, I believe. This will be my first meeting, and I am hoping to find some friendly faces. Anyone else going? I have also learned of the Seminar that Dr. Hodges and Dr. Edwards holds. It is on January 16th, at 6pm. This will be my first seminar. Will any pre-ops here be attending? I would love to see someone I know there, besides my husband. LOL Also, does anyone have any idea what the New Images program is all about? Dr. Morgan referred me to this program. I kinda thought it was some sort of support group, but now I am not so sure since I have learned of the 'New Beginnings' support group. Dr. Morgan did say it will be educational. Hope to see some folks from here at these meetings. We gotta stick together, right? We gotta keep each other in check, right? (i feel like a damn cheerleader in high school.... ) Hugs, Danetta

My wife and I are planning on going to that meeting at St john outpatient surgery center if I can remember how to get there. We went once before but all the people were very nice and friendly. They will have some kind of speaker. The docs dont usually go. I think it starts at 5 30 pm and the time we went they had a pretty good crowd. The meeting is open to pre and post ops from any surgeon or anywhere.

Tell me where to go on the 16th and ill be there. Im sorry i missed the one on the 9th. Thank you Danetta girl for mentioning me in your post. I love you and miss you. Im your biggest cheerleader and will be here for you always. As you can see.. I am having issues but its nothing that i can't make myself get on track with. Hey girl! The meeting on the 9th was great! There were lots of people there, especially post-op! I thought about ya! They are going to be having a new support group just for post-ops that are 1 year or more. I think it will be in the next couple months that it will be starting. The seminar on the 16th is in the same place as the support group. On the corner of Seminole and National is the St. John's Surgery Center. It is in this building on the 4th floor, ...in room 4a...I think. I hope I will get to see you there! I believe it starts at 5:30pm. It's always nice to know that even if we cant see one another alot, we can still keep in touch online. (I love this stuff!!) Warm hugs, Danetta
