Good Morning and Merry day before Christmas

I just wanted to wish everyone a Merry Christmas. I know I haven't been on much lately. It's been a very busy time. Not only busy, I've had another set back with my hernia surgery. My incision got infected and I have had to deal with that, then it got a fat necrosis in it and had to have that cut out. On the bright side, I have lost another 10 pounds since my hernia surgery Nov 7. Hope everyone enjoys the next few days. Merry Christmas Rita

So sorry to hear about your set back with your hernia surgery. They are telling me that I need hernia surgery. Of course, they are saying it is up to me if I have it or not. It is not a strangulated hernia, just a big bulge in my abdomen. What would you suggest? Did they tell you that you had to have it or was it elective?
