Good Morning Missouri...
Ok, I am SO anxious right now . My surgery is on Thursday and I feel like I am all knotted up inside (not scared just anxious). I want this to be over because I am the Worst person when it comes to waiting. My family had part of our Christmas this Friday because I will still be in the hospital Sunday and we had a really good time. We opened a few gifts, played a couple of board games then we went driving looking at light displays and came home and watched the "Polar Express" on DVD.
My wife will come home on Christmas eve to spend Christmas with our boys then come pick me up Monday or Tuesday when they discharge me.
Anyone who wants to can call me when I am at the hospital, the main number is 314-747-3000 and ask for Parrish Nale (wayne is my middle name). I would be glad to talk to any of you, if my wife answers her name is April and she is VERY sweet. Well I will post again before I leave for St Louis on Wednesday but till then I hope you guys have a Killer week. Love Ya, mean it.
Wayne
Wayne,
I am very bad at waiting too. It was a blessing that I got my surgery date and had the surgery within two weeks. Anything longer than that, and I would have snapped.
You will be fine. I know it is hard to wait, and a little worry probably creeps in ocassionally. I'm glad you had fun with your family. That is so important.
We will all be thinking of you on Thursday and sending good vibes your way. It won't be long before you are telling us about all the weight you are losing and making us all jealous.
Linda
Good morning special friend,
Gosh, the time is nearly here. You have to be anxious, happy, estatic!! Do you check into the hospital on Thursday??? I will be on my way to St. louis in the morning. We decided to go Tues (grandkids have school program Tues nite at the Lutheran school) Coming back on Wed.
I am so happy for you, as you will be blessed with a new body, and you will feel so great. We are all proud of you. Sounds like you had lots of fun with your family. Take care, you will be hearing from me in the hospital - hope I am not a pest.
Wayne, have you heard anything from Melodie? I wanted to go see her but my leg is still hurting with any extended standing. But the pain is improving. God Bless!! In Christian love, Colette
Good morning Colette. And "NO YOU ARE NOT A PEST" I am looking forward to talking to you and putting a voice with the posts. I am glad your leg is feeling a little better. I have not heard from Melodie, But I hope to hear about her soon. Enjoy your trip to St Louis and I hope you have a GREAT time with your family.
