LATEST UPDATE

I MET WITH DR.SCOTT ON DECEMBER 14TH FOR MY 3 MONTH POST OP APPT. STEPPED ON SCALES AND I WANTED TO JUST BREAK DOWN AND BAWL. MY WEIGHT IS LOWER NOW THEN IT WAS 21 YEARS AGO. I NOW HAVE ONLY ABOUT 100 MORE LBS TO LOSE AND I CAN HAVE THE FLABBY SKIN REMOVAL SURGERY. NEVER EVER THOUGHT I WOULD LIKE BEING CALLED A LOSER BUT MAN ALIVE I JUST LOVE TO HERE SOMEONE CALL ME THAT NOW. I EVEN CALL MYSELF A LOSER AND THEN I JUST . I STARTED OUT WEARING SIZE 5X AND 6X AND I CAN NOW GET DOWN TO 3X AND SOME 2X. I HAVE DISCOVERED I CAN'T EAT BREAD, ANYTHING CHOCOLATE, WAFER THIN DELI MEAT OR ANYTHING VERY ACIDY WITHOUT . I ACTUALLY LOVE GETTING OUT AND DOING THINGS NOW BECAUSE I CAN WALK MORE THAN 2 STEPS WITHOUT STOPPING TO SIT DOWN AND CATCH MY BREATH. I GO TO WAL-MART SHOPPING AND I EVEN SEE HOW FAR AWAY I CAN PARK BECAUSE I KNOW I CAN WALK AND IT WON'T BOTHER ME AND I KNOW I WONT NEED TO USE THE MOTORIZED SCOOTER WHEN I GET INSIDE. I HOPE EVERYONE HAS A SAFE AND HAPPY MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR AND DONT EAT TO MUCH COOKIES AND CANDY. I NEED TO GO TAKE A AND GET READY TO GO FINISH UP MY SHOPPING. MERRY CHRISTMAS CINDY

Dear Cindy, Haven't heard from you in so long. Wow you are doing fantastic. Don't you love Dr. Scott? I am 6 weeks out and down 43lbs now. Hope I can continue on and have the great success you have had. Keep me posted on how you are doing. Marla

Cindy, Way to go!! You are such a success. And to think the day after surgery when you were in ICU, you were wishing you had not had the surgery. I knew you would change your mind about that. I'm so happy for you. Tell your family I said Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Your step-mom must be so proud of you. She certainly was a wonderful supporter for you. How much weight have you lost all together? Did you see Frank by any chance when you were at Dr. Scott's office? I'm hoping I see him at my six month appointment. Linda
