83 lbs. and conting

Okay, okay. I just have to brag. I am down 83 lbs since surgery on 7/26. Things have been so crazy in my life (two sick octogenarian parents in another state) that I didn't weigh for 2 weeks again. What a wonderful surprise This is the first time I have weighed under 220 lbs in 30 years. Maybe I will get to Onderland one of these days. Linda

Wayne, Thanks for your kind words. Things were looking up yesterday morning when we got Home Health Care for my mom. That solved many problems for us. Today they are installing Lifeline for her, so we know she can get help quickly if she needs it. We're hoping she won't need it. Yesterday afternoon, my brother and niece saw my dad at the nursing home and realized he was having serious respiratory trouble again. They insisted he be taken to the hospital. That's where he is now, but there may be an effort to send him back to the nursing home. I am hard this morning trying to prevent that. Since I am 2 1/2 hours away that means lots of phone calls. I am supposed to be working, not phone calling. Oh well. Linda
