IT'S HERE!!!!!
I'm from Ca too and totally confused as to driving in the snow! I really wanted to go run errands today, but this will be my first time. Ugh. I might just wait. ANy driving tips? I already went to google and entered "how to drive in the snow". I got some good tips, but you know, real live people advice is great too!
Take care and drive safe. Remember to turn INTO the skid and accelerate a bit. Even though it sounds wrong to me. (that's what google said!)

YAY! I am so excited that I took pictures and emailed them back home.
Now everyone's reconsidering coming out to visit until spring! None of my friends have the right clothes to survive in this weather!!!
I'm learning. Layers, scarves, hats, coats, everything possible to cover me up. The good thing is, with hats, I don't have to do my hair!
Take care and enjoy! Kristen
Well made to the assement but just one little problem. got into my car and pushed the wronge botton and the sun roof came open so I had to drive all the way in 1 degree wheather to the hospital. it was sort of funny.cause they ask me why I was shakeing so after telling them my long story. they rush with all the tests. so i can get to the ford dealer to fix it. my switch was broken on it. I said if the top was down I would ve drove any ways to get here. and then my B/Friend said this is a sign Mel? I said no it not its a freak moment. I will not miss this for nothing. waited to long already. well sure hope all is well. Wish me Luck on Dec 16 they will be doing a open one on me. Thank you all for the support you have given me. God Bless Stay Warn. Hey Kristen the road were fine going. I love the snow. Melodie
yes, it IS a sign! It is a sign that after you lose all that weight, you will be freezing your A$$ off! I know I am! LOL! TOTALLY WORTH IT!
Glad you made it to the assessment though. I had open too. It was more painful i guess than what people tell me about lap, but I don't care. It was what my surgeon did, I wanted surgery and it was so wroth it. I'd do it over again in a heartbeat!
Just have your house prepared for when you come home. Have your groceries bought that you will need afterwards, just in case you don't feel like going anywhere. I hung out around the house for a few days, then finally couldn't stand it anymore and rode with my husband to the grocery store for some juice. What excitement. I came home and went back to bed!!
OK, well keep us posted on your surgery!
