I need a support group!

I live in Carthage, MO and the only support group that I know of that is close to me is in Springfield, MO. By the time I get off work I can't make the meetings. I would really like to go to these meetings. I think I will learn more. Does anyone know of a group closer to me? I keep hoping they will have one in Joplin one of these days. Thank you. Connie

Connie Hey sweeite, I dont know why I didnt think of it earlier. But have you tried calling either Freeman or St. John's to see if they have a support meeting?? I know that Dr. Hardgrover does his WLS out of St. Johns. So I would think that they would have to have something there. But I dont know for sure. Just trying to help ya out sweetie. Connie, I know what you mean about not being able to make the support group meetings--I live in Springfield and work at St. John's--right across the parking lot from where the meetings are held--and I can't even get there sometimes. They're so early! I hope you find something that will work for you. The meetings in Springfield are really good--I even wish they were more often because I feel more motivated after attending! I've searched online and not found anything else near here, only in Kansas City and St. Louis. If you find something closer, please let me know! Good luck to you! Julie
