This time around is going so much smoother and faster....

I am already almost done with the pre-approval process and paperwork. I got my paperwork this time within 2 days. I filled it out immediately, but it was Friday night so I had to wait till Monday to make my physc. eval. appointment. It is scheduled for Jan. 2nd. I have an appointment with my PCP on Monday to have my thyroid level checked. I have it checked every year because I am on meds for hypothyroidism, but they want one within the past 3 months and I know it has been longer than that. My PCP also said he is writing my letter of medical necessity and will have it for me at my appointment. After that on Jan 2nd I should be able to turn in my paperwork at my phsyc appt. This has gone much smoother than my first two times. This insurance has already said it is covered and the pshyc eval. does not require pre authorization. Several people at my job have had this surgery. I am going to the support group meeting on the 21st. I am on my way! Trying not to get my hopes up, but I can not help it!
