6 Month Post Op Dr visit

Hi all, Sorry I have been so busy with the holidays to post alot, but I figured I needed to post the latest Dr info. As of yesterdays official weigh in at the Dr office I am now at 184 lbs. I am down 130 since surgery on 06-01-05 and got a gold star for all of my efforts LOL. I did really good with Turkey day and actually ate some Turkey (dark meat of course), smashed potatoes (maybe 1/4 cup), green beans, and some cranberries. Well I am getting there closer to my goal weight and I couldnt have gotten this far without the help of my message board freinds and family. Thanks all and I hope for those weighting to get surgery you get the word your approved soon and for those that have had it keep up the good work and post the good news here. Way to Go Gevin, you are doing awesome! Sorry I didn't respond to your post earlier, I sent myself to Miami Fl for a week to celebrate my 6 months post op and found out that it is much warmer in Florida in the winter time when you don't have all the body fat to keep you warm in Missouri. I am sending myself back down there and possibly on a cruise for my year out of surgery, so hopefully i will be at goal by then. Isn't it amazing how far this past 6 months have taken us?
