This was sent to me by a friend. And I just wanted to share it with all of you. Love, Melissa As you well know, we are getting closer to my birthday. Every year there is a celebration in my honor and I think that this year the celebration will be repeated. > During this time there are many people shopping for > gifts, there are many radio announcements, TV > commercials, and in every part of the world everyone > is talking that my birthday is getting closer and > closer. > > It is really very nice to know, that at least once a > year, some people think of me. > > As you know, the celebration of my birthday began > many > years ago. > > At first people seemed to understand and be thankful > of all that I did for them, but in these times, no > one > seems to know the reason for the celebration. > > Family and friends get together and have a lot of > fun, > but they don't know the meaning of the > celebration. > I > remember that last year there was a great feast in > my > honor. That was such a true story about Christmas and it gives us a whole new perspective on the birthday of Christ. At our celebration we always sing happy birthday to Jesus before we eat. My kids love that and it helps them understand what the true meaning of Christmas is. We do the santa thing to but the other day my daughter said, "Mom, do you know who santa's best friend is? I think it is Jesus." I knew that we had done good. Have a great and blessed day. Penni
