How much did your phys. evaluation cost? Will insurance pay for this?

Just wondering. Haven't really checked into this yet. Was just told yesterday by Dena at Dr. Hornbostel's office that she has never gotten my insurance (BC/BS) to pay for this surgery if there is an exclusion on it (even if the employer agrees to waive the exclusion, they have to have a different plan to get the surgery covered). So, just wondering if I should even check into this or not. But just wanted to be prepared if the times comes. Thanks!

I dont know about your insurance but mine did not cover Phys eval, Nut Consult. Initial Physical Therapy or initial Doc consult the total for me was 600.00. I would call them just to check, all they can say is no Good luck. Wayne

I think mine was $125 I have the Dr.'s name in my profile I think.If I remember it was Dr.Joyce or Joy she is very nice..She is in St.Louis.Best of luck ... Shelly
