Reminder - New Beginnings Support Group Mtg., Springfield, MO

As a reminder, the next meeting of the New Beginnings Support Group is scheduled to meet Monday, November 14, 2005, at the St. John's Surgery Center, Classroom 4B, 1229 E. Seminole, Springfield, Missouri. We meet from 5:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. The New Beginnings Support Group is for bariatric pre and post-op patients, their support members or anyone wanting to obtain information on bariatric surgery. We welcome pre-op patients, post-op patients, family members, and general public. You may be a part of our group regardless of where you have had your surgery, and you don't have to be a patient to attend. This month's speaker is Mike Brown, President of the Healthy Weight Supermarket. Mike's presentation will be "How To Survive Holiday Eating". We look forward to seeing everyone on Monday! Hello Cathy, I sure wish I could come to the support meetings. I live in Carthage and when I get off work it is too late to make the trip. Do you know if there is any support groups closer to me? I had my surgery on 10/13/05 and I have a lot of questions. Connie
