I'm HOME!

Well, we took another trip. We spent a week in Florida. John and I drove his Dad down there to visit his brother and sisters. It might just be the last visit for him. HIs health is pretty bad. He's come a long way, but did have an episode while we were out there. He had a seizure and stopped breathing. John and I did CPR on him and he i, as he puts it, "good as new" now, just a little memory loss. He spent a few hous in the ER and got dilantin via IV. The next day, we celebrated his 65th birhtday out to dinner with his whole family. He's had these seizure episodes before when his Dilantin levels get too low, I've just never seen one. Even being an LPN, I was pretty freaked out when it happened. You know, a loved one is totally different than a patient. So besides that excitement, my husband bought another dirtbike and is dying to go ride it like a crazy man! UGH! Time to UP his life insurance and AFLAC! We both will start working very soon. Him this week and me....soon. (putting it off....shame on me) I'm adding people to the secret santa list and we're up to a total of 8 people. So, c'mon everyone, send me your email address & I can get you in the secret santa fun! You don't have to spend a lot of money. It's just in the fun of getting mail!
