I have My Date and scared to Death Need Someone to chat Me in Help!

They Called me today from the Doctor Office and said My date will be 12/16/2005. WoW that was Fast. Just Had my Appt: on 10/31/2005. I did have this surgery before in California had the old stapleing done but it came un-done, and ever since then I just grain all it back and more. So I will be getting a revison don Rny done . I know I need to have this done for the fact that I am living on a lot of meds. right now, and My back is killing me. If anyone out there can help me through this? WONDERFUL AND WELCOME Doctor Hornbostel will be doing this for me.But I dont have any support to be incourageing me along to a path of good Health. well all for the crying jag I guess just feeling scared. Melodie; I also had my surgery(RNY) with Dr. Hornbostel May 31st and have lost 78 pounds so far. You are in vary capable hands; he is a godsend! Do you have any family nearby? Who will be at the hospital with you? Do you need an angel? I'm here if you need me! Shrinking Patty 258/180/140

I have no family.I have a Boyfriend But he to old and not able to come. and I want him to stay home where he is safe.I'm going to see if I can get someone to take me, and then may be pick me up. My sister died Last year from being overly obese. she was only 54 years old. I did have this done about 10 years ago and was feeling on top of the world.Dena said maybe I can go the day before I have it done. cause i am at high risk. you are ANGEL SENT . There's no need to chicken out. It's very normal to feel scared. This is a life altering operation, and your life will never be the same. But it's worth it. If you need someone to be with you the morning of surgery, I can do it. Just let me know. Look to all your OH buddies for support. You'll sail right through this! Patty

Melodie, I had to write to you and say congrats. I too am having the surgery next monday - 11-14-05. Patty is my angel and a wonderful lady. I too am offering my help - will be glad to help you as much as I can as soon as my surgery is over next week. I went for my preop today. It was good, staff was very nice and Dena is tops. Well, Melodie I don't know a thing about being an Angel,.. but I would be glad to drop in on you if I'm not having surgery at the same time. I have been to several of the doc's semiars,... earlier this year, but not lately. I would still be glad to visit with you and give you as much support and prayers as I can. Oh My Marylin... Thank You so Kindly. Iam 51 years old and feel like a 151 years old. Did you have this done already? and how are you feeling. I am hearing so many Bad things about that hospital, and bad things about revisons. this is what is putting me in a state of shock. I just want to do well. I do so good with the stapleings. but they came un-done. I do follow rules very well.I just I hope dont chicken out at the last. I am fully covered a 100% so how lucky can you get. thank you Melodie
