Greatful post

What are you greatful for today? I am thankful that i am able to make it threw another day and try to stay strong for others. marsha

Marsha, I am very grateful that I went for my last pre-op consult today. I am having my WLS on Monday! Marla

I am grateful for moving to Missouri. It was a spur of the moment decision and I am so GLAD we did it. We'd been thinking about moving out of state (from Ca) but kept talking ourselves out of it. It all happened due to what might have been my father in law passing away. I think him knowing that his favorite son was moving into his little town kept him going! Happy to say, when we visited him in June and July, he was doing bad in the ICU. TOnight, we all went out to dinner in springfield. What an amazing blessing for him to be able to join us, to be home, and have his family with him to make him happy (and crazy at times! LOL). My sister in law moved out here too, with her teen son. That is a whole other blessing in itself! Maybe I'll use that for what I'm grateful for tomorow! Take care, Kristen

I have alot to be grateful for. I am grateful that God gave me another day to watch over my children and to be able to stay home with my two babies. I am grateful for my wonderful husband God gave me, if it were any other man I probably would not be here today. I am grateful for family who support me. I am grateful for my church family and my wonderful priest who is there for me whenever I need him. I am grateful to Dr. Hornbostle who studied how to do this surgery to help people live a better life. I am grateful to his staff who are always there to answer questions. I am thankful for the many friends I have met on this website expecially Colette, Darla, Kristen etc. I am thankful for patty, who found it in her heart to give me some clothes for when I start shrinking. I am thankful that God is giving me this gift to help me to be healthy so I can serve him more and play with my kids at the park. Well, I could go on but I think I should leave it at that. I am thankful for all of you for caring for all of us in waiting. The things I am greatful for are so numerous. For my wonderful husband of many years, for my 6 children and spouses and my 15 grandkids. I am thank ful that Jesus is in my life daily and that he has led me to this procedure and tool and that I too will be on the shrinking size shortly. I am glad that I have another day to share with the folks at the nursing home who are so lonely. I thank him especially today for the support of my husband, children, and all of you especially Penni and shrinking Patty. Just the few moments it takes a day, helps each one of us to be assured we are on the right track and very blessed. Have a great day today!! Colette
