Good morning Missouri...

Well its another chilly morning in Springfield, the kids are of to school and I'm sitting at the computer wishing I had coffee (I ran out yesterday). Today will be a day on the phone trying to find out whats holding up my stress test, its the last test to run before setting up my surgery date. After that its CLEAN, CLEAN, CLEAN. Well I hope everyone has a good day and pray that I'm able to make head way with my stress test. Wayne

g'morning Wayne. I'm sitting here sipping my hot coffee and wishing that I could send you some! Went out yesterday and found some Davinci's SF Kahlua flavored syrup to put in my coffee. YUMMMMMMMMY That goes along with my Starbuck's SF vanilla syrup ... good stuff maynard! Have a good one and I hope that you get some resolution on the scheduling! Elizabeth~

Elizabeth Thanks for the great ideas. I can figure out where to get the Starbuck's, but where did you get the Davinci's? I am really tired of the taste of decaf coffee. I haven't found one I really like yet. Linda

Linda.. I picked up mine from good old wallyworld... in the coffee section of course!... right next to all the starbucks preground packages! Hope this helps out! It tastes good! Elizabeth~

Sorry the replys a little late but as I said I've been cleaning my big butt off. Thanks for the thought the coffee sounds AWESOME, I'll have to go pick some up when I pick my kids up from school. Oh! LOVE the s/f syrups! I gave all of mine away when I moved out here. I'm kicking myself now. But there are only two or three flavors I wish I had. So compared to the 20+ bottles I gave my good WLS friend, Marta, I'm better off than if I'd packed them and they broke on the trip out! yikes! I need to find who sells them out here. Is there a Cost Plus Imports anywhere? I guess I could order on line as well, just more fun to go out and SHOP!! So, maybe I should post my protein coffee drink recipes.... ~~Kristen

Wayne, I am certainly hoping you can get that stress test scheduled. It isn't a lot of fun, but it's one of those necessary evils. I am drinking latte from Panera's, but it would be cold by the time I drove it to Springfield. Good luck and keep us posted. Linda

Good morning, or by now I should say good afternoon. I keep calling the Docs but all I get is the nurses answering machine, counting today I have left 3 messages. And as far as the latte goes, how do you know it would be cold unless you try. Truly though, thanks for the thought. Wayne

Is your stress test going to be on the treadmill or with the persantine thallium iv? Mine was treadmill and I still laugh thinking back on it. The Dr. says "OK, start walking. I will make it go faster and increase the incline as we go." I'm totally calm and thinking "wow, this is EASY, what a breeze, I'm just sauntering along here!" Then it goes faster, it goes higher and I'm breathing heavier, breaking a sweat, asking him to turn the fan up and aim it straight at me!! Finally i ask, "How much longer is this TEST????" He laughs, and says "about 5 more minutes, but you can go longer if you want." HA HA, he really was a funny guy but I couldn't wait for that thing to be over! In the begining I was just strolling along, arms swinging. By the end I was holding onto the rails for dear life! It must have been a hilarious sight! Hopefully you will get your test scheduled ASAP so you can move on and start cleaning! By the way, while you're in the cleaning mood, why not stop by my place!? LOL Take care, Kristen
