Had my one month follow up on the 12th and it went GREAT. I lost 18 lbs so makes a total of 40 lbs since surgery and i am now on solid foods however i am taking it real easy. i have found i can not do vienna sausage and i can not do a scrambled egg those 2 things have made me dump just after a couple bites. I have been able to keep down townhouse crackers and some cheese, cottage cheese, and some apple sauce, I am gonna try some tuna salad on crackers today for lunch. I also tried a cup of sugar free hot cocoa last night and it stayed down but for some reason i had terrible heartburn so i think i am gonna shy away from that for awhile. I also have a 6 lb. container of 100% whey protein Strawberry flavored powder mix to give to anyone that wants it. I purchased it at GNC it is Pro Performance and it is 20 grams of protein per drink. I have used only enough of the powder to make 1 drink and i dont like it. so if anyone is interested just let me know and we can try and meet somewhere. Cindy

I don't know about you, but fat really caused me to dump at the beginning. I remember dumping BIG TIME on Shrimp Scampi. But I had it last night (after 1 year) and I did fine with it. Eggs also did me in at the beginning. I didn't try them again until I was 9 months out and I did an omelette fine. I also do French Toast (with sugar free syrup) just fine now, too. I will tell you I love GNC liquid protein. It comes in punch flavor. I mix it with 24 oz pink lemonade crystal light. I double the amount of protein to get 36 grams and I drink it over several hours so it will absorb in my system. It has been my lifesaver. Thanks. Teresa
