Three month follow up appointment

Yesterday was my 3 month followup appontment with Dr. Scott. It was only 11 weeks, but my appointment had been moved up. It was the best appointment I have ever had in any doctor's office. I am down 64 lbs in less than 3 months. My BMI went from 45 pre-op to 36 yesterday. I am not obese, instead of morbidly obese. Last week my PCP took me off my BP med. Yesterday, after a week with no med, my BP was 119/79. That's lower than it was with the medicine for many, many years. I am very happy with my results so far. I still have to make my exercise program more regular, but this too shall happen. Linda

Linda, That is SUPERB, You are doing so good. I just hope I can continue to do as well as i have been doing. I have totally shocked myself i honestly NEVER thought i could or would do it. Did you by any chance see Frank? I didnt see him or anyone my appt. wasnt until 10:15 i got there at 9:45 and natalie took me on back and i was out of there by 10:05 and on my way back home. However i had to make a stop at Wal-Mart and get me a new outfit to celebrate the news and all. Keep up the good work. My BMI at the very beginning was 88 and i am now down to 64 so i am still way up there but it is coming down. next appt. is Dec.14th at 2pm Cindy
