I'm new here

Hi!! My name is Darla and I'm new on the message board. I had surgery on Feb. 9th, 2005, and have lost a little over 100 lbs so far. I would love to hear from anyone. I love to make new friends. If there is anyone around Fulton that would like to talk let me know. Darla D.

Hi Darla, Congrats on your journey so far, you are doing amazing. Feel free to drop me an email, I am always up for meeting new people that have gone through this surgery. Last weekend I went to Chicago and met up with about 25 bariatric surgery patients from the Singles board on here.

Welcome to the board. I am still pre-op but hopeing to have my surgery in early Dec. Congrats on your weight loss so far that is very encouraging for those of us still waiting. Welcome Darla, This is a great support system. I live in Windsor Mo. about 30 from Sedalia Mo. I know that you live up around Columbia if I am not mistaken. How far are you from Sedalia? Hi Darla, I work at Callaway Hospital there in Fulton and live about 15 mins from there on RT O to RT CC in Steedman. I had my surgery on June 6th and am down about 80 lbs or so. My good friend lives in Fulton too, her name is Vickie Wooley, dont know if you know her but she also had the surgery a month after me. I met her at Dr Scott's office and have been talking to her ever since. I would love to join you in our little support system too. Who knows, if we get enough of us together in the Fulton area we could get a support group going Welcome to the boards!
